I’m David. I live near Chesterfield in the United Kingdom.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with my wife and daughter. I also love dogs, I currently have four, a Golden Retriever, a Chocolate Labrador, and two Cocker Spaniels.

I have a keen interest in retro video games, I have a collection of retro consoles and games. My fascination extends to computers, I use both Mac and Ubuntu systems, while also cherishing older computers such as the Commodore Amiga.

I enjoy watching football, particularly supporting Manchester United and the England national team.

I have a passion for cars, I like reading about cars and watching car shows on TV/YouTube. Aside from my daily drivers, I also drive an MG TF 160 on nice days.

I am also a music lover, I enjoy anything and everything from the 1960s to around 2010, and don’t really have a favourite genre.

Finally, I’m a big fan of British comedies, some of my favourites are Only Fools and Horses, Father Ted, The Office, Phoenix Nights, Bottom, Game On, Men Behaving Badly, and many more.

While my website is generally filled with web development related blog posts, I do occasionally post my thoughts about topics related to the above too, I’d love to hear your comments.
